Name: Toxon
Age/Gender/Rank: 24/Male/Cavern worker
Physical Characteristics: A striking figure, he stands at 6'5" tall, with a lean yet muscular build. His eyes are so dark as to be almost black. His hair, worn longer than is considered fashionable, is wavy and black that shines blue in the sunlight. His skin, however, is light; pale, even. Would be considered handsome if he wasn't so feared by others.
Personality: Dark. Foreboding. Misunderstood. He prefers to be alone, avoiding people like the plague generally. Yet, at the same time, when he does speak to others, he has a strange, undeniable charisma. Contrary to his darkness, he has an incredibly beautiful singing voice, which few have ever been privileged to hear.
Dragon/Fire Lizards: Green flit Morwyna
History: Toxon's story begins long before his birth. Tora (his mother) was born the oldest child to the Weyrleader and Weyrwoman of Cibola Weyr. She had a happy childhood, until another man killed her father and raped her mother. From that unhappy union, the golden-child Celion was born. For her entire childhood, Tora hated her half-brother. Her hatred was further solidified when Celion Impressed to a Bronze, whereas she did not Impress at all. Injury was added to insult when one day, Celion--now C'lion--became Weyrleader of Cibola and raped her, betraying the loyalty of his weyrmate. From that, Tora became pregnant, though he didn't know it. Furious and ashamed, Tora left Cibola, taking the child with her. Her son, whom she named Toxon, was born during a blizzard, leagues away from any kind of civilization. Despite this, both endured until they made it to Equinox Weyr. Tora raised her son alone, poisoning his mind against the brother whom had stolen her birthright (as she saw it) and raped her so brutally. She decided that Toxon would one day Impress, and his dragon would attack and kill C'lion's Bronze, thereby leaving C'lion a broken man--and ideally dead. His entire life, Toxon was nurtured on tales of darkness and murder, leaving him twisted and cruel. When he failed to Impress time after time, Tora became even more embittered, thinking that it was somehow C'lion's fault that her son was not being chosen. Eventually, she died, her life having been a waste of anger and hatred. Toxon was alone. Unsure what to do with his mother gone, he continued to work in the caverns, all the while planning to fulfill his mother's vengeance.
